Prototype-level validation of two polymeric bio-composite blends with a reduced environmental footprint, incorporating biomass from the agri-food sector in a mass content between 35% and 50%. The project aims to validate both the products and the production technology.
Validation of preparation methods for obtaining advanced bio-composite materials with a reduced environmental footprint (based on biodegradable polymers), through the use of waste and/or by-products from internal side streams and from the agri-food industry.
Evaluation, testing, and demonstration of the performance of the new polymeric bio-composites, as well as validation of the functionality of the production technology at industrial level.
Prototype validation — obtaining two new polymeric bio-composite materials with a reduced environmental footprint, together with validation of the associated production technology.
Strengthening the innovation capacity of the coordinating company by assimilating RDI results obtained in effective collaboration with research organizations, in order to develop products with commercialization potential on the domestic and international markets.
